More Dumbocracy

Not to be outdone, McCain supporters show their intelligence as well.
To be fair there are as many idiot McCain supporters as there are Obama supporters. One difference to point out though is how the McCain supporters are not just morons, but bigot morons as well. Also it's nice to see that most of them are religious as well...what nice "Christians". Rednecks, beer, god and voting, what a dangerous mix.

Dumbocracy in Action

Howard Stern had someone interview Obama supporters in Harlem to see if they actually were voting for him because they agree with his policies or because he is black. He switched Obama's policies for McCain's and they were clueless. They even thought Sarah Palin was Obama's running mate. This just further illustrates what morons we have in this Country. In all fairness though, I would bet the outcome would have not been that different if they would have interviewed McCain supporters in West Virginia either. "Dumbocracy" at it's finest here-

How to Be a Better Voter (sheep)

By George Stephanopoulos, PARADE Magazine
H.L. Mencken is often quoted as saying, "No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public."
Great line, but Mencken got it wrong — at least when it comes to voters.

Editors comment-
Actually George, he got it right! Voting is one of the things Mencken would have been talking about when he said what he did. You see George, Mencken was an Anarcho-Capitalist and understood the insanity in voting...too bad you don't.- Mike Wasdin

Ever since I planted my first lawn signs for a county judge as a high-schooler in Cleveland, I've been fascinated by campaigns and elections. Now, 30 years later — after working in the Capitol and the White House, serving in three Presidential campaigns, and covering three more as Chief Washington Correspondent for ABC News — I'm still fascinated.
